Founded in 2003, Lieto Voices celebrates its 21st performance season, joyfully bringing "Lieto"—Latin for "glad"—to life through voices united in song. With Dr. Nancy Allred-Wright, director, and Kris Barber, assistant director, Lieto Voices is regarded as a treasured presence in the Southern Utah music scene. The choir provides community members with opportunities to deepen their musical experience through the performance of outstanding choral works. In collaboration with the Southwest Symphony, Lieto Voices has brought to audiences powerful performances of masterpieces such as Handel’s Messiah, Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God, and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
