MENDELSSOHN VIOLIN CONCERTO WITH DAVID PARK

Our Artist in Residence David Park joins us one final time for one of the greatest violin concertos of all time.  The Mendelssohn will be paired with the beloved American composer Florence Price’s first symphony, which will have you dancing along by the end of the night.  This concert will be recorded live for a professionally released CD.

From the graceful swan to the boisterous elephant, the entire family will be delighted by Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals.  In addition, the Southern Utah Youth Orchestra will join Lucas Darger and the Southwest Symphony for a spectacular side-by-side presentation, and the SWS Competition Gold Medalist will perform with the symphony.
